G-Shock’s Hot Red Debuts

(Sponsored Post) Timed for both Valentine’s Day and to celebrate its 35th anniversary, G-Shock this week debuts a limited edition Red Out series that offers a bright new look to four familiar watches.

The new Red Out series is comprised of four popular G-Shock watches (the DW5635C-4, DW5735C-4, DW6935C-4 and GA735C-4A) each now rich with a deep red LCD display G-Shock has created using a new coating technology that incorporates particles into paint to provide a deep, lusterless matte-red finish.

Beyond the red you also find black IP metal band loops stamped with stars and black IP metal case back engraved with the G-Shock’s anniversary logo as designed by artist Eric Haze.

Here’s a quick look at each edition: The DW5635C incorporates the iconic square watch face, mirroring the heritage of the very first G-SHOCK model. The DW5735C is based on the DW5700, an early G-Shock best known for its round case with a digital liquid crystal display, and the DW6935C is based on the DW6900, the primary case silhouette of multiple G-Shock collaboration models. Finally, the GA735C boasts an oversized case, Super LED Light, 3D bold hands, world time (in 31 time zones, 48 cities + UTC), a five-year battery and a hand retract function.

Of course, each watch is equipped with G-Shock’s legendary structure of 200M water resistance and shock resistance, in addition to an EL backlight, multiple alarms, 1/100th second stopwatch, 1/10th countdown timer and 12/24 hour formats.
