(Sponsored Post) Resplendent in red, this newest addition to G-SHOCK’s premium MT-G connected watch collection is tough to miss on the wrist.
This new member of G-SHOCK’s luxury MT-G men’s collection, known for its super tough metal and resin hybrid case construction, features an all-new bright red band, as well as black IP case with silver and red accents on the dial. The colorful strap remains as tough as ever, despite its new hue. G-SHOCK makes the strap from strong urethane and fine resin, and then securely attaches it to the case with metal parts.
Building on the success of the MTGB1000 series’ strong hybrid case, this highly visible limited-edition G-SHOCK MTGB1000-1A4 boasts a thinner case than earlier MT-G models, yet features a host of the very latest functions, notably the ability to connect to a smartwatch via Bluetooth and BLE time-sync.
Inside, the MTGB1000-1A4’s Connected Engine module shares signals with a timeserver using a paired smartphone or by using radio wave time-calibration signals. The watch connects to the G-SHOCK Connected smartphone app a few times a day, which means the wearer may use the app to easily set the world time and alarms. The same app will offer the wearer a reminder to charge the watch and can also warn about possible magnetic interference.
Since G-SHOCK’s MTGB1000-1A4 features Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping Technology, it provides accurate timekeeping virtually anywhere by using radio signals from up to six different transmitters worldwide.
Other features here include: tough solar technology, standard G-SHOCK technology of 200 meters of water resistance and shock resistance, dual dial world time (up to 300 cities selectable within the app), a full auto Super Illuminator LED light, stopwatch and countdown timer, daily alarm, and full auto calendar – all in the now slimmer 51.92mm case.
