(Sponsored post) G-SHOCK has offered a host of variations based on its square-faced original G-SHOCK 5600 series, one of the brand’s now legendary models. This year, fans of that original model have a new option with a pair of GM5600 models that GSHOCK has just updated with a chic brushed metal bezel and a new polished metal exterior.
The new models, which echo the G-SHOCK GM5600 and GM5600B, feature an inner module case made of resin (like existing 5600 models) but offer a look similar to the premium full-metal G-SHOCKs, but here at a lower price point.
The clean look of the collection hasn’t altered the lightweight and smaller-case appeal of the historic 5600 line. Underneath the new polished coating lies the same ultra-tough resin, which G-SHOCK utilizes for the case and the band.
The new timepieces also come with the well-known light-on-dark LCD dial design coveted by G-SHOCK fans for more than three decades.
G-SHOCK is debuting three models within the collection: GM5600-1 (silver and black), GM5600B-1 (black ion plating and black), and GM5600B-3 (black ion plating with green band and camo dial). G-SHOCK GM5600 and GM5600B are priced at $180 - $200 and are available at select jewelers and gshock.com.
