Joining the ranks of Baselworld 2016’s most anticipated ladies timepieces, the Breguet Classique Phase de Lune Dame 9088 marries classic swiss watchmaking with modern technologies.
Powering the timepiece, automatic caliber 537L. The mechanism contains an in-line escapement and silicon balance spring for minimal-maintenance timekeeping. Each component of the caliber 537L is hand finished, including the Côtes de Genève motif found on the bridges as well as the barleycorn guilloché pattern on the oscillating weight.
Breguet considered the meaning of complications when creating the Classique Phase de Lune Dame 9088. A moonphase function, romantic in its celestial representation, can be found at 6 o’clock. It includes a hand-carved representation of the moon with stars peppered around the sky. Other functions include hours, minutes and small seconds.
The white gold case adds to the Classique Phase de Lune Dame 9088’s feminine appeal. Measuring 30 millimeters in diameter, the case is set with 66 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.04 carats. Three other versions include non-diamond set pink gold cases and more.
