Just added to the Govberg collection, the Richard Mille Oversize Date, the RM029, has been designed to react and adapt to physical activity. The spring is not wound too little or too much, and it is built using a variable geometry rotor with wings that provide fine adjustments. This unique design allows the rotor to speed up or slow down during different activities. The brushed titanium and rubber strap give this a sporty look and comfortable wear. Govberg Price: $64,500.
The rose gold Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph is the ultimate expression of uncompromising luxury paired with a sports watch. The dial is rose gold with the “Mega Tapisserie” pattern and contrasting black chronograph subdials. These black from the subdials extends out to the tachymeter scale and black ceramic chronograph pushers and crown. Powering this is an iconic Audemars Piguet caliber combining innovating and tradition, built using 365 parts. Govberg Price: $62,500.
One of six new Day-Date styles released in 2013, the Day-Date 118138 re-introduced glorious colors into the Rolex lineup. This watch features a deep green dial and matching alligator strap paired with a beautiful yellow gold case. Pairing the green dial and matching strap give this model a unique look. While the Day-Date was originally meant to be a men’s watch, the 36mm size makes it a perfect watch for sharing. Govberg Price: $14,500.
We can’t forget a women’s watch for the weekend, especially since it is Mother’s Day! The Roger Dubuis Excalibur, at 36mm, makes the perfect addition for either a casual weekend or can be dressed up for events. The black dial paired with the black satin strap are both sporty yet classic. The oversized Roman numerals give this watch a unique dial; at first glance it looks like it could be a pattern, but upon closer inspection it is actually the hour markers. The Excalibur is distinguished by its unconventional aesthetics. Govberg Price: $12,500.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classique lives up to its model name. This watch is classic in design and is the quintessential Reverso. It allows you to rotate the dial to a solid case back to protect the crystal if you are playing sports where you my damage the face; it was originally designed to protect against Polo balls and sticks. The Reverso is understated and always a perfect watch to sport and can be worn daily without hesitation. Govberg Price: $7,450.
A weekend favorite is also the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. This is one of the most iconic pieces produced by Omega, being a part of all six lunar missions. It represents an adventurous spirit and sporty design. This watch is manually wound, making it the perfect edition for sports whether you’re playing or watching. To wear the watch more casually, it comes with an extra NATO strap and Velcro strap (similar to what would have been worn on lunar missions). Govberg Price: $3,975.
The Aquatimer 2000 has been designed for weekend wear, and deep sea diving. It features a water resistance of 2000m! The watch also comes on a rubber strap, perfect for diving, errands or just casually being worn. The 41mm case size paired with a bright white dial make this watch jump on the wrist. If you are wearing the watch while diving, the luminous hour markers, hands and bright 15-minute indicator on the bezel are easily read underwater. Govberg Price: $2,950.
